Behavior:
Aqueous ammonia is the water solution of ammonia, which is formed by the resolving of ammonia in water. It is colorless liquid, weakly alkaline and easy to volatilize. It has strong irritating smell, and has the same corrosive and suffocating effects on human beings as that of ammonia. Aqueous ammonia is incombustible and inexplosive liquid. In normal cases, the ammonia separated from aqueous ammonia has strong smell, and is poisonous, inflammable and explosive. Aqueous ammonia has obviously strong irritating effect, with the relative density below 1. The higher the concentration is, the lower the relative density is. It can react with acid substances and metals such as copper and zinc.

Usage:
Raw materials for dyeing, pharmaceutical and chemical production; or used as nitrogen manure.

Packaging and storage:
Aqueous ammonia shall be stored in cool and wind-sheltering places away from fire to reduce its volatilization and avoid explosion. It is packed in 10-L plastic barrels. And tank car transportation will be handled upon the requests of customers.

Safety and protection:
In case of damage to skin, rinse with water, and flush with 3-5% acetic acid or citric acid. In case of toxication with ammonia, breathe in fresh air immediately.
